Where can you hear classical music performed
by first-rate professional artists, and not leave the Tri-cities? At all of
The Geneva Concert Series
performances, of course! Seven
times a year, the Series brings you great concert fare, and at a very low
fare indeed! Elsewhere,
many pay $30, $40, even $50 for a ticket to hear our artists perform—but all
programs in the Geneva Concert Series are only $8 per ticket—and it
gets even better...In
December of of each year, Series subscriptions go on sale for the upcoming
Series, and you can by tickets at 30% to 50% savings. Can it get any
better?? Yes indeed. A subscription to the Geneva Concert
Series comes in the form of a punch card, which lets you use your
subscription for yourself and your friends, too. (At last, there is
something truly exceptional for your sudden out-of-town guests—right here in
Geneva, Illinois.)The
concerts are user-friendly, and are quite intimate and easy-going, though
given in the pristine ambience of the auditorium of Geneva Lutheran Church.
It has been said, “the most delicate instruments are crystal clear in that
place—it’s almost like they are being amplified!” Come and hear the quite
perfect acoustics yourself!
In December, the Series features a gala fund-raiser, The Gourmet
Dessert Concerts. Concerts are given in a Boston Pops format, under
beguiling candlelight, and the desserts are to die for! Things lighten up
a bit for these programs—and there is a clear holiday feeling in the air.
Artists from as close as Chicago and from as
far as Switzerland show their musical wizardry at the Geneva Concert
Series. We invite you to see and of course, hear the great music for
yourself.
