Welcome to the homepage for the Missions Commitee at Geneva Lutheran Church. This commitee formed in May 2008 to organize missions programs in our congregation.  If you have ideas or suggestions or simply feel called towards reaching out to those who need help please join us at our next meeting!

Global

• We support Rev. Stefanie Quick serving as a ELCA missionary in Costa Rica
• A Mexico Missions trip scheduled for Summer 2010 (high school through adult)
• Families in our congregation support over 60 children through Compassion International
• Prepare meals at Feed My Starving Children

National

• Lutheran Disaster Response -- rebuilding homes and lives in the flood damaged midwest
• High School Youth travel to St. Louis this summer

Local

• Lazarus House homeless shelter in St. Charles needs meals, supplies and volunteer help
• Riverwoods Christian Center in St. Charles
• Habitat for Humanity
