It's Still Easter!
We all love the trumpets, the lilies, the energy and excitement of Easter. So much that we can forget that, while the resurrection is the center of our faith, a single day can't hold it! Even the disciples took some time to figure out what the resurrection meant. That is what we work to figure out the rest of the year through the stories of Jesus' life and ministries; and the stories of those who follow Him...which includes each of us.
Join us in exploring together life after the Empty tomb. Just don't expect to understand everything all at once or right away- together we'll learn how the resurrected Christ shows up with us along the road.
Worship with Children
At Geneva Lutheran we value families being together in worship. We spend much of our week divided and rushed, and look forward to the pace of worship and sharing sacred rituals with our children. Practicing faith together makes families stronger. There are 'busy bags' and a chapel space at the back of the Sanctuary where our newly mobile members can move freely while still being in a special space.
Having children in worship raises the noise level some Sundays, but also brings a beautiful energy and above all, hope! So pack up your special 'church snack' and find a place where your whole family is welcome!
